During the whole book I was swooning and laughing and falling in love right there with them.
YOU CANNOT JUST DROP A BOMB LIKE THAT ON THE LAST FEW PAGES!!!!!!!!
And then, in my crazy lunatic state, I read the rest of the pages at light speed so I can hurry up and start the next book. And what do I see?????? NO SEQUEL UNTIL NOVEMBER!!!!!!!!
Please, please, please I beg you. Please release it earlier. I cannot exist in torment for another three months!!! PLEASE.
All you who have not read the book, heed my words carefully; Do Not Read This Book UNTIL NOVEMBER!!!! I will not wish this torment on my greatest enemy. Learn from my mistakes and do not follow the same path I have chosen. You may be tempted. You may think "maybe just a sample". But no!
This book is exactly like falling in love and then having your heart shattered. It's so wonderful and magical...Until it's over and there is absolutely nothing you can do to stop the sadistic torture.

I'm a person that can read a whole book in one sitting. But this one, it felt like it went on for an eternity. There's a second one to the series and I'll buy it and I'll read it only because I can't read a book that ends on a negative point.

The story line was great, but there was too much of a tease. It was so hot and cold that I wasn't sure what to make of it. However, the last two chapters were completely unnecessary. It was like reading the first 6 chapters over again. Word for word. I skipped it. Hopefully the next book will pick up where the story actually ended.

I have to say, I am sooo frustrated with this book! I would've given it more stars if the author didn't decide to twist Cole's personality to COMPLETELY STUPID at the end of the book, going against EVERYTHING Cole was trying to accomplish and felt with Tessa. He cheats on the her, his supposed love of his life, in the very last chapter! Serious?!?! Why bring his long time friend that you only hear about once before, Erica, into the story at all?! Just to have a series?? Ridiculous!Again, Ugggghhhh!!! It could've had a perfectly sweet and happy ending, with the characters' flaws and all, but noooo! Instead, the whole story was ruined and then just flips over to Cole's point of view for 2 chapters at the end... from random places in the book, nonetheless. I was so beyond mad at Cole at that point, I didn't even want to read what he had to say. Sufficeth to say, I'm done with this author and I will not even think about picking up the 2nd, 3rd or whatever book to this series. What a waste of talent and my time.
COULD NOT PUT THESE BOOKS DOWN! I was introduced to this story through the app Episode and looked it up and found the original story and realized it had been published. I didn't hesitate to order both books 1 and 2 and I simply could not stop reading them once I started. I read book 1 and 2 in 2 days and was dying for book 3. I know it's available on Wattpad, but I wish it could hurry up and get published in other formats. My ONLY complaint with this book was the ending....it just didn't feel like an ending, luckily I had already bought book 2 so I just picked up it and kept reading to continue the story.
I would have given this a 5 star but I really hate the fact that the main girl is bullied and refused to stand up for herself. Also, she is crushing on a guy who let's his gf treat her like crap. Once the main character started getting a backbone, with the help of an annoying old enemy, the story was great. We'll written. Can't wait for part 2. I would recommend to give it a try.
So freaking good! Tormentor turned BF is gratifying and Blair Holden wrote it exceptionally well.
Was it a bit too long...Yes...but I enjoyed it so much, I don't know where I'd edit certain scenes. They offered insight, you know?
Having said all this, I'm genuinely praising it, Tessa pulled a 180 nd totally upended progress. Cole is hardly innocent, his reaction to Erica's declaration, and Tess leaving, but Tess shouldn't have left in the first place. She had managed to handle so many different matters with aplomb, with such maturity, that running away was so cliche. I knew it was coming, the fact that there was a sequel pretty much guaranteed it, but man was I disappointed.
Like the title says, however, I am glued to the series and will most definitely move to book 2.
Ok, let me start by saying that all of the one star reviews that rated it such just because of the ending must not have realized there was a sequel that picks up right where the last book ended, so don't avoid it for fear of the ending that everyone claims is so horrible. I truly enjoyed this book and couldn't put it down. It could do with some editing as there are several typos, but none of them got in the way of the story or bothered me enough to stop reading it. The writing style is a little different as well (the main character talks to the reader a lot), but again, it didn't bother me enough to keep me away from the story which pulls you in quickly and doesn't let you go. The author does a great job with character development. Her characters are relatable and their circumstances believable. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves young romance novels!
I don’t even understand why this book was so long. Nor do I understand what made Cole a “bad boy” in the beginning when Tessie described him. There was so much nothing in this book that it drove me crazy. This book needed to be cut in half. And why did Cole even like Tessie? I never understood that.

Now you may say that cheating only happens if sex occurs, but I am not of that opinion. I won’t spoil this book for you if you decide you have to read it- but I consider this book to be a cheating book. I wish I had known. In my opinion- skip it.
